CTERA debuts new technologies for NAS and cloud backup and storage
Debut at the Lunch@Piero’s press event during CES: Cloud data storage and back-up company CTERA showed its new technologies to create a complete platform for ISPs to be able to offer advanced cloud storage services to end customers. Its unique, multi-layered approach combines cloud computing and Network Attached Storage (NAS).
CTERA co-founder Liran Eshel, who previously led SofaWare Technologies (a Check Point company), talks about the tiny CTERA CloudPlug that transforms any external USB drive into a network file server with automatic online backup.

As a Mezeo Ready solution, the CTERA CloudPlug and CTERA’s larger 2-bay appliance, the CTERA C200, seamlessly connect a user’s local network to Mezeo-based storage clouds for secure remote file sharing, synchronization and remote access.
