No matter how you slice it, it’s a 3 minute rehash of TCO expectations.
In the end it IS about cost. It’s always about cost. It’s about the TOTAL cost versus the advertised per unit product/service cost.
The overall experience is also part of that “cost”. And the customer should always ask “what am I getting (or going to get) and what will it cost me?
