how do i backup my pokemon rom?
I’ve seen the solutions to the questions regarding a backup being required to play and such, but I don’t know if this applies to what I’m trying to do. I’m attempting to hack/edit the rom, and I’ve been told I need to backup my game beforehand, so I don’t mess it up permanantly. So how do I do this? Thanks everyone!
It’s very simple, you just have to have a copy of the file you are going to hack. For example if you are hacking a FireRed rom simply copy the FireRed.gba file and name it something like FireRed_backup.gba so that you don’t get it confused with the rom that you are hacking.
